Cafe Mazda Restaurant

We’re located in the Atmaram Building on Paywall Street, right in the Grant Road area of Mumbai. It’s a part of the city that never really seems to sleep. Being at Grant Road means there is a constant stream of people coming from the station or heading toward the markets. The restaurant is on the ground floor, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls have plenty of stories to tell. The Atmaram Building is one of those solid, old Mumbai structures that you just don't see being built anymore. We keep things pretty basic inside. The tables are arranged to fit as many people as we can without it feeling like a sardine can. It gets loud during the lunch hour when the office workers and shopkeepers from Paywall Street come in. We don't have fancy menus or a social media manager; we just write the specials on a board and hope for the best. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the lights flicker, but that’s just life in an old building in this part of town. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we all know the routine by heart. We aren't trying to win any awards. We just want to provide a decent place for people to eat their lunch and take a breather from the Grant Road chaos. It’s a simple, honest setup for the working crowd.
