Burhani Gift Centre

Our shop is right inside the Benzer Shopping Centre on 9th Main Road. We've been here in the 7th Sector for a good amount of time now, near the masjid. If you walk past the main entrance, you’ll find us easily. It is not a very big space, but we try to fit a lot of things on the shelves. Most days, we are busy unpacking new boxes of clocks, picture frames, and small toys. We usually open up in the morning after the morning prayers are done. The lighting inside could be better, but we know where everything is kept. People from the neighborhood come in looking for birthday presents or something small for a wedding. Sometimes the shelves get a bit dusty because of the road construction outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns sitting at the counter. It gets quite crowded on weekends when the shopping center is full of families. We keep a variety of items like plastic flowers, some stationery, and wall hangings. It’s a simple business. We just try to keep things organized so people can find what they need without too much trouble. Sometimes customers stay and chat for a while. We know most of the regulars by name since they’ve been coming here for years. It’s just how things go in this part of town.
