British Gas

British Gas is based at 1406 3 A Dreams Complex on LBS Road in Bhandup West. Bhandup is a busy suburb of Mumbai, and LBS Road is almost always jammed with cars and buses. Our office is inside the Dreams Complex, which is a big place with lots of different businesses. We handle things related to gas services and accounts. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s necessary for the people who live and work around here. We spend our days answering phones, checking records on the computer, and dealing with service requests. The office has that standard feel with desks, some rolling chairs, and a few printers that sometimes act up when we are in a hurry. We see a lot of people coming in to talk about their bills or to ask about a connection. We are just regular workers who live in the city and know what it’s like to deal with the daily grind. Outside, you can hear the construction and the traffic. During the monsoon, the water can get pretty high on the road, which makes getting to work a bit of a challenge. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just show up, do our jobs, and go home like everyone else. It’s a practical office in a practical part of Mumbai, serving the local community as best as we can.
