Our office is tucked away in the Parivar Co-Op Housing Society in Kanjurmarg East. We are up on the 4th floor of the D Building, in the B Wing, room 412. If you know Mumbai at all, you know how these housing society offices usually look. They are not fancy, but they get the job done for us. We have got our computers set up and enough space for everyone to sit down and work. The lift works most of the time, which is good because four floors is a lot to climb in this humidity. We deal with various technology projects throughout the day. Usually, the morning starts with everyone complaining about the train delays on the Central Line or the traffic on the highway. Once we finally settle in, it is just work. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea. It is a quiet spot compared to the rest of Mumbai. We do not do much advertising; people usually find out about us from someone else they know. It feels like a small neighborhood business even though we do tech work. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy with kids playing outside or people moving furniture in the other flats, but we do not mind that. It is just real life. We are not some big corporate entity with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us making sure things work the way they should.
