Brainsoft Systems

Our spot is at 94/10 in the Worli Quarters. That’s over on Matunga Road East, Mumbai 19. It’s a typical Mumbai neighborhood, very tight and busy all the time. We call ourselves Brainsoft Systems. The office is small, but it fits the few of us who work here every day. You have to navigate the narrow lanes and avoid the parked scooters to get here. It’s always buzzing with energy right outside our windows. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to park, so most of us just take the local train and walk the rest of the way. The station isn't too far away, which really helps when the traffic is bad. Inside, we just have our desks and some old chairs that have seen better days. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor or fancy lighting. It’s a place for work, plain and simple. We spend a lot of time on the phones and staring at computers. The noise from the street comes in through the windows, but you get used to it after a week or two of working here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some shops close up and others open their doors. We’ve stayed put in this building. It’s a good location for us because it’s central enough for everyone to reach. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door handle. If you blink, you might miss us. We like it that way. No need for a big fuss. We just handle the technical stuff day in and day out.
