Borkar Polymers

We are over in Kandivali East at numbers 103 and 104 on Nagrathpet Main Road. Borkar Polymers is basically a place where we work with plastic materials all day long. The building is industrial and stays pretty warm because of the machinery we use. You can usually hear the sound of the equipment from the street. We have a small crew that handles the production and the packing. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving sacks of raw material and stacking finished products. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in our work clothes dealing with a shipment. Nagrathpet Main Road is always congested with traffic, which can make deliveries a bit of a headache. We just do our best to keep the machines running smoothly. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves and keep going. It’s a steady kind of work. We’ve been in Kandivali for a while now and we know the other business owners on the block. We aren't trying to do anything revolutionary. We just produce the polymers that people ask for and try to keep our overhead low. The floors are a bit scuffed and there’s always a bit of a plastic smell in the air, but that’s just the nature of what we do here every day.
