Our office is tucked away in Chandresh Apartment, which is right in the Shanti Ashram area of Borivali West. It's a relatively quiet neighborhood compared to many other parts of Mumbai, which we actually quite like. We’ve been operating here at Choices Prosperity Solutions for a while now, focusing on financial consulting and helping people plan their savings. The office is located inside a regular residential building, so it feels more like a home environment than a stiff, formal business place. We have a few desks set up and some old filing cabinets that are usually stuffed with papers. People mostly find us because they live in the nearby buildings or because a friend mentioned our name to them. We don't have any big flashy signs or neon billboards outside. Most of our days are spent looking over financial documents and sitting through meetings that can sometimes go on much longer than we expected. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused through the afternoons. The Devki Nager area is easy enough for most of our clients to get to, which is helpful. Sometimes we have to deal with the usual building headaches like a leaky pipe or the lift being under maintenance for the day, but that’s just part of living and working in a Mumbai apartment block. We aren't some massive firm with hundreds of nameless employees. It's just a handful of us who have worked together for a long time. We try to keep things straightforward.
