Bombay Surgical Corporation

We are located on Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road in Girgaum, right opposite H.N. Hospital. It’s an old part of the city and our building, number 104, has been here for ages. We deal with surgical supplies and medical equipment. Being right across from a major hospital makes sense for what we do. The shop is often full of boxes—stethoscopes, bandages, surgical tools, all sorts of things. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. People from the hospital often pop over if they need something quickly. It’s a busy street with lots of traffic and noise, but that’s just Girgaum. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a functional space where we manage orders and help customers find what they need. Some of our staff have been here for decades. They know where every little piece of equipment is kept, even if the shelves look a bit messy to an outsider. We spend a lot of time on the phone with doctors and clinic managers. It’s a lot of responsibility making sure the right tools get to the right people. We take it seriously, but we don't feel the need to be all corporate about it. We’re just a local business doing its part in the medical community. Sometimes we stay late to finish up deliveries, but that’s just the nature of the business in this part of town.
