Bombay Kitchenware Stores

My father started Bombay Kitchenware Stores quite some years back and we are still in the same spot at Shop No 42 on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. It is right above Jai Mahal Estate if you are looking for us. We mostly keep stainless steel items, heavy pots, and all the small things you might need for a home kitchen. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small because of all the boxes piled up but we know where everything is kept. People come here when they need something that lasts longer than the cheap plastic stuff. We don't really do much advertising or anything fancy like that. Most of our customers just walk in because they live nearby or their parents used to buy from us. It is a simple place. We open in the morning and stay until late evening. Dealing with suppliers takes a lot of time but we try to have the right sizes in stock. If you need a specific tawa or a large pressure cooker we usually have it sitting on a shelf somewhere. The stairs up to the estate can be a bit steep so mind your step when you visit. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run okay. It gets a bit dusty with the traffic outside but that is just how the neighborhood is. We just focus on getting people the kitchen stuff they ask for without any fuss or complicated sales talk.
