Our place is in the Vivek Industrial Estate, unit 113. It’s in Goregaon East, specifically the Cama Estate area near Litolier. It’s a typical industrial unit with high ceilings and a lot of noise from the neighbors in the building. We work with plastics here. There are machines running most of the time, making that steady humming sound. It gets pretty warm in the afternoon, so we keep the doors open as much as we can for the breeze. We have stacks of raw material in one corner and finished products in another. It’s not a place for a suit and tie. We’re usually in our work clothes, getting our hands a bit dirty. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, making it hard for the delivery trucks to pull in. We’ve been here in this estate for a good while. We know the security guards and the other business owners around us. We don't have a reception desk or a lobby. You just walk in and you're right in the middle of the workspace. We spend our days checking the molds and making sure the output is okay. It’s practical work. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out in the shade. That's just how it goes in this part of town. We just keep doing our thing, one batch at a time, without any big fuss.
