Bluesky

Bluesky is located over in Byculla, specifically at Maimun Manzil on Spence Lane. We’re up on the third floor in Flat No 16. If you know Mumbai, you know how these older buildings are. It has a lot of character, and the stairs keep us in shape since the lift isn't always the fastest thing in the world. Being in the 400008 zip code means we are right in the middle of a very old and busy part of the city. There’s always noise from the street, and you can hear the local trains and traffic all day long. We’ve been using this flat as our base for a good while. It’s not a huge space, but it fits our desks and all the files we need to keep track of. Working in Byculla is interesting because everything you need is just a short walk away, from tea stalls to hardware shops. We mostly just focus on our daily tasks and try to stay on top of the work coming in. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work somehow. We aren't trying to be some big flashy firm with a glass building. We just like this corner of Mumbai and the people who live around here. Most of our day is spent at the computers or on the phone, trying to sort out whatever needs doing for the day. It's a practical setup for a small team like ours, even if it gets a bit warm in the afternoons.
