We are located at 19 446 in the Tata Colony area, right near the Bandra Kurla Complex in Bandra East. Being so close to BKC means there is always traffic and people moving around. Our office here in Mumbai is usually a whirlwind of activity from the moment we open the doors. We have a lot of space compared to some other branches, but it fills up fast with all the crates and envelopes. The staff spends a lot of time on the computers tracking shipments and talking to drivers who are stuck in the Mumbai traffic. It can be stressful when a big shipment is running late and the phones won't stop ringing. We know the security guards and the other people working in Tata Colony pretty well by now. Lunch is usually a quick affair at one of the local spots nearby before we get back to the manifests. The building itself is older but it serves its purpose for what we do every day. We don't have many posters or fancy things on the walls, just the charts and schedules we need to stay on track. Sometimes the humidity is a real bother, but we just keep working through it. It’s a practical environment where the focus is just on getting the logistics right and making sure nothing gets left behind on the warehouse floor at night.
