Our spot is over in Andheri East, right by the Sahar area at a place called Tank View. Being near the airport means we are always busy. It’s a lot of trucks and vans coming in and out at all hours. We handle the courier stuff, mostly packages and documents that people need delivered yesterday. The office is pretty basic. We have a few computers, a lot of scales for weighing boxes, and stacks of shipping forms. It gets pretty hot and dusty in the warehouse area, but that’s just how it is. We have a team of people who have been doing this long enough that they can tell the weight of a box just by looking at it. The traffic around Andheri is always a problem, so we spend a lot of time planning routes and hoping the drivers don't get stuck for hours. We don't have a big fancy lobby for customers. It’s mostly just a counter and a lot of noise from the sorting area. We just focus on getting the parcels sorted and sent out. It’s a lot of repetitive work, scanning bar codes and checking addresses, but it’s what keeps the business moving. We aren't a corporate office with suits; we’re mostly just guys in uniforms trying to stay on top of the daily pile of deliveries that never seems to get any smaller.
