Blue Bells Creation

We spend most of our time here at 22/B in the Swati Apna Ghar building. It’s right across from Lokhadwala Circle, so it gets pretty loud outside during the day with all the rickshaws. Inside, we have our machines and a lot of fabric rolls stacked against the walls. Usually, there’s a bit of lint on the floor even if we just swept it ten minutes ago. We started Blue Bells Creation just to have a place to work on these designs. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy machinery next door in Triveninag kicks in, but we are used to it by now. The tea guy comes around at four and that’s when we usually take a breather. It is a small space, honestly. We have to move boxes around just to get to the back desk. People walk in from the Talawade side all the time asking for things we don't even make. It’s just how things go in Andheri West. The traffic near the circle is a nightmare around five o'clock. We try to finish our cutting work before the sun goes down because the overhead bulbs aren't the brightest. There isn't any fancy decor here, just practical tables and a lot of thread. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in blue patterns. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and know the neighbors pretty well. It's just a regular workplace where we get things done every day without much fuss.
