Bits & Bytes Computer Services is located in Shop No. 02 of the Kamal-Kunj Housing Society. We are right on Bazarpeth Road in Raigad, not too far from the Maruti Mandir. It’s a busy street with lots of people walking by all the time. The shop is small, mostly filled with computers, cables, and various parts we need for repairs. It smells a bit like solder and old electronics in here. We spend most of our time fixing laptops or helping people with their software problems. Sometimes the fans on the machines are so loud we have to shout over them. We’ve been in this society for a few years now. Most of the locals know they can just drop off their machines and we’ll get to them when we can. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a wooden bench by the door. It’s usually just me and one other person working. We take turns going for tea across the street. Raigad gets quite hot in the summer, so the shop can feel a bit stuffy, but the ceiling fan helps. We try to keep things simple. If a computer is too old to fix, we just say so. There’s no point in wasting time on things that won't work. We enjoy the work and the people we meet every day. It's just a regular local shop.
