Birla Transasia Carpet Limited

Our office is up on the 6th floor of Industry House, over at No. 159 Church Gate Reclamation. Being in Church Gate means we are right in the middle of all that South Mumbai energy. You can hear the trains and the traffic even from six floors up. Birla Transasia Carpet Limited has been here for a good while now. The office is usually cluttered with carpet samples—heaps of different colors and textures everywhere you look. It’s not the most tidy place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to people on the phone and looking over order forms. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure the measurements are right and the delivery dates are set. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re more important than we are. We’re just folks who know a lot about carpets and flooring. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we always tell people to give themselves an extra few minutes when they come to visit. We take our tea breaks looking out at the city, which is probably the best part of the day. It’s a simple setup, just desks, samples, and a lot of hard work to keep the business going in this busy part of the city. We do our best to stay on top of things without making it too complicated.
