If you are ever in Malad West, you might have seen our place. We are Birla Cellulosic, and we are located in Shanti Nagar, right on SV Road. We are at A 7, which is basically right across from Nilgiri Hospital. Being in Mumbai, it is always busy outside. The traffic on SV Road never really stops, so there is always a bit of noise, but we have gotten used to it. We have been here at this unit for a good bit of time. It’s a practical space. We don't have those fancy modern interiors you see in the new buildings. We just have what we need to get through the day. Working as part of the group, we just focus on the cellulosic side of things. It involves a lot of coordination and making sure the supplies and orders are all in order. We have a small team here, and most of us have been around for years. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. It’s a very local vibe despite the name on the door. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and deal with the Mumbai humidity. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We like the location because everything is close by, even if the road gets blocked during the monsoon. We just take each day as it comes and keep the operations running as smoothly as we can.
