Bidri Sales Corporation

If you head over to 54/56 Raudat Tahera St., you’ll see our building. We are up on the 2nd floor in Room No 7. It’s a bit of a climb because the stairs are narrow, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. This is Bidri Sales Corporation. The street downstairs is always packed with people and carts, so getting things delivered can be a real headache sometimes. Room No 7 isn't very large. It’s mostly just shelves and a couple of old desks. We handle a lot of sales and distribution from here. It gets cramped when we have new stock coming in, but we manage to stack things up to the ceiling. It’s an old part of town, so the walls have that specific character you don't see in new offices. We mostly deal with trade people who know the area well. Sometimes it’s so noisy from the street that we have to close the windows, even when it’s hot. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just take orders, talk to customers on the phone, and make sure the boxes go out. It’s been our home for a long time. The light in the hallway is a bit flickery lately, but the room itself is alright once you’re inside. Just a small business trying to keep up with the daily rush on Raudat Tahera Street. We usually head out for lunch at the nearby stalls. It's a busy life but we like the neighborhood.
