Bhasha Bharti Arts

Bhasha Bharti Arts is over at Bazargate 243. If you have ever walked down Bazargate, you know how tight and narrow the streets are. It is an old part of the city with a lot of character. Our building has been standing there for a very long time. Inside, the place is full of paper. We have books, posters, and all sorts of art projects lying around on the tables. It is a bit of a mess, honestly, but we know where every single thing is kept. The wooden stairs creak every time someone walks up to see us. You can hear the vendors shouting on the street below throughout the afternoon. We spend our days working on different language and arts projects. It is quiet work for the most part. We have a few old computers and a whole lot of pens and pencils. Sometimes a cat from the neighboring building comes in and sits on a desk. We don’t mind the company. People stop in to ask about translations or just to say hello while they are passing by. It gets dark early in these narrow alleys. We have these old yellow lights that make the office look quite cozy. Bazargate is like a maze for some. If you find number 243, then you have found us. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything. Just a wooden door that sticks a bit in the humidity.
