You can find us at Office No 926 in Parekh Market, which is on J Charni Road. We are quite close to the HP petrol pump on the New C G Road. Parekh Market is a very busy trading hub, and our office is right in the middle of all that action. It is a small space, filled with samples and ledgers and a couple of landline phones that never seem to stop ringing. We’ve been running Bharat & Brothers for a long time, and it has always been a family-run thing. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just deal with our customers face-to-face or over the phone. Most of the people we do business with have been coming to us for decades. The office building is quite old, so the lift can be a bit moody sometimes, and we often just walk up the stairs if we aren't carrying heavy loads. The 400004 area is full of businesses like ours, where everyone knows everyone else. We don't try to compete with the big modern showrooms. We just provide what people need at a fair price and keep our records straight. It’s a lot of work and the days are long, but we enjoy being part of the market. Sometimes we sit out front and talk to the other shop owners while waiting for deliveries. It’s a good life and we just keep it simple.
