Best Western The Emerald (Hotel & Executive Apartments)

Juhu is a loud, busy, and interesting part of Mumbai. Best Western The Emerald is right on Juhu-Tara Road. If you walk out the door, you are right in the middle of it all. We have rooms and we also have these executive apartments, which are basically just bigger spaces for people who are staying longer than a couple of days. Mumbai is a city that never really stops, so there is always noise from the street, but we’ve done what we can with the windows. We spend our days managing the laundry, the kitchen, and the front desk. It’s a lot of coordination. The building has been here for a bit, so it has that lived-in feel. We aren't trying to be a five-star palace with gold taps. We are a place where you can get a decent night's sleep after a long day in the city. The beach is close by, which is why most people like this area. You can go for a walk on the sand if the tide is right. Our team is pretty straightforward. We don’t use a lot of big words or make promises we can't keep. We just give you a key and show you where your room is. If the lift is slow, it’s probably because the whole building is full. We just take things as they come and try to keep everyone comfortable enough.
