Our office is in Chawla Plaza Apartments, specifically unit D201 in Sector 11. This is over in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Best Of Breed Software Solutions is the name on the door, though it’s a long one to write out. It’s a bit of a mix here, half residential and half offices, so it feels quite relaxed compared to the big IT parks. We build software and sit at our screens for long hours every day. It’s not a flashy setup with bean bags or free snacks, just desks and good internet and some coffee. Being in Navi Mumbai is nice because it’s a bit more spaced out than the main city. We’ve been here in Sector 11 for some time and we like the local food stalls nearby for a quick lunch. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when we have a few new projects going at once, but we manage to fit everyone in. We aren't some big global corporation, just a private limited company trying to build things that work. Most of us take the train to Belapur and walk over from the station. Chawla Plaza is a well-known spot in the area, so people don’t usually get lost finding us. We keep to ourselves mostly and focus on the coding and fixing bugs. It’s a quiet life here in the apartment block, which helps when you need to concentrate on a problem. If the doorbell doesn't work, just knock hard on the door. We’re usually inside working away on some code.
