Bennett Coleman Co Ltd

I am writing this from our office at Bennett Coleman Co Ltd, located in the Sagar Mahim building on Veer Savarkar Marg. If you know Mumbai, you know this road is always moving. We are over in Mahim West, near Jahingir Baug. It is an older part of the city but it has a lot of character. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, some old files, and the usual computer setups you would expect. It is not a fancy corporate showroom with glass walls everywhere. It feels more like a place where people actually come to work. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so many of us just take the stairs to get things moving. From some of the windows, you can catch a glimpse of the surroundings, but mostly we are focused on what is on our screens. The traffic noise from the street below is constant, but after a few days here, you stop noticing it. We have a small pantry where we make tea, and lunch is usually something brought from home or picked up from a nearby stall. It is a busy atmosphere but not in a forced way. We have been at this address for quite a while now. People know us in the neighborhood. We just do our daily tasks, handle the paperwork, and try to get everything finished before the evening rush starts. It is just a normal day at the office for us.
