Goregaon East is where all the heavy work happens. We’re located in the 41276 area, and if you come by Beena Shot Blasting Sand Blasting, you’ll hear us before you see us. The sound of the machines is constant. It’s a tough environment, lots of metal, sand, and heavy equipment. We don't have a lobby or a waiting room with magazines. This is a workshop. The floors are concrete and usually covered in a fine layer of dust from the sand blasting. Our workers are local guys who know how to handle the machinery. We start our shifts early when the air is still a bit cool, but by noon, it’s hot and loud. That’s just the nature of the business. We don't try to sugarcoat it. People come to us because they need parts cleaned or surfaces prepped, and they know we just get on with it. There’s a lot of grease and hard work involved. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. We eat our lunch together in a small corner away from the noise. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Goregaon for a long time and seen the factories around us come and go. We just stay focused on the task at hand and try to keep the machines running smooth.
