Beena A Chada

Our spot on Immadhalli Main Road in Kandivali is right in the middle of everything. It’s one of those streets that never seems to get a rest. If you know this part of Kandivali, you know how the traffic can be during the evening rush. Beena A Chada has been functioning from here for some time. The office is simple. We have a couple of desks, some old files, and a window that looks out onto the main road. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the horns and the buses, but you get used to it after a week or two. We start early most days before the sun gets too high. There’s a routine to it. Open the shutters, turn on the fans, and get through the paperwork. People often walk in thinking we’re something else because the signage is a bit faded, but we don't mind. We just tell them where they need to go. It’s a very local way of working. No one wears suits here. We just dress for the weather and handle what comes our way. The building is older, so the walls have a few cracks, but it’s sturdy enough for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our corner stays pretty much the same. It’s just a regular place where people come to get their stuff sorted without any fuss or extra talk.
