Basanti Jewellers

You can find us at Shop No. 14 in the Empress Mahal building, right near the Dadar T.T. Circle. It’s a very central spot, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Basanti Jewellers has been here for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our shop is small, but it's packed with things. We don't have a big fancy showroom with marble floors. It’s more of a traditional setup where you can sit down and talk to us directly. We spend most of our time dealing with repairs, taking new orders, or just cleaning the glass cases. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized in such a busy area. Dadar is always humming with energy, and we are right in the middle of it. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We usually start the day by opening the shutters and setting things up before the first customers arrive. Sometimes it gets quite crowded in the shop, especially on weekends, but we try to help everyone as best as we can. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It’s a straightforward way of doing business, and it has worked for us for a long time. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent shop in a great part of Mumbai.
