Our current address in Mumbai is right in the thick of things. It is a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and the pace is always fast. We work at Bank Of America, but if you walked in, you would see it is just a group of us trying to keep up with the daily grind. The humidity here can be pretty intense, so the office is our little escape from the heat outside. We spend a lot of time on calls or staring at spreadsheets, which is not very exciting to talk about, but it is what keeps the place running. There is a certain rhythm to life in Mumbai that carries over into the office work every single day. We all have our favorite spots nearby for a quick snack or a tea break. The building is not new, but it serves its purpose for us. We do not really go in for those big corporate speeches or polished presentations. We just focus on getting the numbers right and making sure the files are in order before we leave. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know each other's habits and how we like our tea. It is a practical environment. We deal with the long commute, handle the heavy workload, and go home at the end of the day like everyone else in this massive city. It is just our little corner of the world where we try to stay organized.
