Our office is on the 2nd floor of a building called Gita Graha at 36, situated on 4 R S Sapre Marg in Mumbai. It is right in the 400002 area, which is quite central and always bustling with activity. The building is one of those older Mumbai structures that has a lot of character, even if the lift is a bit moody sometimes. We are Bank Of America K S C. Up on the second floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street, but you can still hear the honking and the shouting from the market nearby. We have a few rooms filled with cabinets and desks. It’s a bit of a tight fit because we have a lot of files to store. We spend most of our time at our computers or talking on the phone with people from other offices. The light in the afternoons is actually quite nice through the old windows. We usually take turns going down to grab some tea or a snack from the street vendors. There isn't any fancy corporate branding on the walls, just a calendar and some notes pinned up. It’s a hardworking environment but we keep it casual between us. We know each other's families and what's going on in the neighborhood. It’s just a regular Mumbai workplace where we try to get through the pile of work without making too much of a mess. We stay focused on the task at hand.
