Balvikas Sangha Hall

Our hall is located on Balvikas Sangha Marg in Chembur. It is a very local spot, right near Gandhi Maidan, which is where kids usually play cricket or people go for walks in the evening. This building has seen a lot of things over the years. We have hosted so many weddings, birthday parties, and community meetings here. It is a plain space, but it serves the purpose for families who need a place to gather without spending too much money. Chembur has a lot of trees, so the area around the hall feels a bit quieter than the rest of Mumbai sometimes. We do not have a big marketing team or a website with flashy photos. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who had a function here before. The staff is just a few local guys who know how to set up the chairs and manage the lights. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody really minds when there is a celebration going on. We keep the place tidy, though it shows its age in some corners. It is just a community space for the people living around here. We are glad to be part of the neighborhood’s history. You can find us easily if you walk past the Maidan. We are usually there from the morning till late evening when an event is happening. It is a simple place for regular people to celebrate.
