I am based out of the Larsen & Toubro campus in Powai. Specifically, I'm over in the E.C.C. Division on the fifth floor of the North Block-II. If you have ever been to Gate No-1 on Sakivihar Road, you know it is a massive place. It can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. I have been working from here for quite some time now. My name is Balasubramanian, but most just call me by my name or Balu. It is a professional environment, but inside our office, we keep things pretty simple. There is a lot of movement around here because of how big L&T is. You see people coming and going all day long. Powai has grown so much since I started. The traffic on Sakivihar Road is always something to talk about. We just focus on the tasks at hand. It is not about being flashy or having the biggest desk. It is about getting through the day's list and making sure everything is in order. Being in the North Block means we are right in the middle of the action. It is a long walk from the gate sometimes, especially when it rains. I enjoy the routine of coming here. It is just a regular job with regular people trying to do their best in a very large company setting. Nothing more to it. We just keep the work moving along every day.
