Balaji Construction Co

Our construction company is based right in Andheri West, which is a hectic part of Mumbai to be in. We operate out of a small office where the walls are mostly covered in blueprints and site photos. Being in Andheri means we are always in the middle of the city's hustle. There is a lot of coordination involved in what we do, from getting materials delivered to managing the guys on the ground. We spend a lot of time on the phone dealing with suppliers and trying to stay on schedule. The weather in Mumbai is a big factor for us, especially when the rains start and everything on the sites has to slow down. Our desks are usually covered in dust from the local area and piles of permit papers. We don't really do the fancy corporate thing. We are more comfortable in boots and site vests. Sometimes clients come in to look at plans, and we just clear a spot on the main table for them to sit. The office is often loud because of the street traffic and the constant ringing of phones. It is a busy life, and there is always another project starting up before the last one is even finished. We just keep our heads down and focus on the building work that needs to get done around this part of the city.
