Babaji Computers

Babaji Computers is a small shop located at Shop No 2 in Trivedi Niwas. We are in the New N area of Andheri East. The shop is filled with all sorts of computer parts, monitors, and old laptops. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of repairs to do at once. We have a workbench in the back where we do the soldering and the part replacements. There is always a smell of hot electronics and dust in the air. We’ve been here in Trivedi Niwas for quite a while, so most of the local residents know us. They bring their computers when they stop working or if they just need a bit more memory added. We don't have a big corporate staff, just a couple of us who know how to fix things. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific part to arrive, but we tell our customers that upfront. Andheri East is a busy place and there is always something going on outside the shop door. We have a small fan that tries its best to keep us cool, but it gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We keep our tools in little plastic bins so we don't lose them among all the wires. It is a humble shop but we take our work seriously and try to get every computer back to its owner in working order. Sometimes we share a samosa from the stall next door while waiting for a system to reboot.
