If you are looking for us, we are right by the Ramchandra Kirana Store in Gokul Nagar. It is in Jayambe Chawl, specifically E-9. Most people just use the store as a landmark because everyone knows where that is on Akurli Road. Kandivali is always crowded, especially this part of Mumbai, so there is always a lot of movement outside our door. We share the space or work alongside L T Ltd here. It is not a shiny corporate tower or anything like that. It is just a regular spot in the chawl where we get our work done every day. The tea guy comes by every morning and afternoon, which is the highlight of the day for most of us. Being in Maharashtra, the weather gets really hot and the fans in the office are always humming. We have been in this spot for a bit now. Sometimes it is hard to find parking on Akurli Road, so we usually just walk or take the rickshaw. The Kirana store next door is always busy with people buying their daily groceries, so there is a constant buzz of conversation. It feels very grounded being here in Gokul Nagar. We are just part of the local fabric, working away in our corner of Jayambe Chawl. It is a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and equipment, but we make it work somehow.
