We are located right in the heart of things at Marine Lines. Our office is in the Diamond Buildin, specifically Room 134. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. You have to pass the Bharat Krishna Bakery and head toward Delhi Darwaja to find us. The smell of fresh bread from the bakery is always there in the morning. It’s an old building, one of those classic ones in Mumbai with narrow hallways and lots of character. We deal with textiles, so there are always samples of fabric lying around on the tables. It can get quite dusty with all the threads and cloth. We’ve been in this spot for years. The room is small and we have to stack things high to make space for everyone. It’s a bit loud outside with all the merchants and people moving goods back and forth. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some old fans that hum all day. We know all the other business owners in the building. We usually grab lunch from the local stalls nearby. It’s a very traditional way of working, no flashy corporate stuff here. We just handle the orders and talk to the mills. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit during monsoon season but we just move the fabric and carry on. It’s a busy, cramped, but decent place to work. We like the energy of the market and the people we meet every day.
