Sanjivani Housing Society is where you’ll find us, right on Jawahar Nagar Golibar Road in Khar East. Being in this part of Mumbai means there’s always something happening outside our doors. This Axis Bank branch is a small, busy place where we handle the daily banking needs of the people living around here. It’s not a sleek, modern office. It’s got a bit of wear and tear, and it can get pretty cramped when a lot of people come in at once. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and talk to whoever is at the counter. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and checking IDs. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of attention to detail, so we’re usually pretty focused. The noise from Golibar Road is a constant backdrop to our day. We aren't here to sell you anything you don't need. Most of us are just local people working a regular job. We try to be helpful, but we also have to follow all the rules and regulations, which can take time. If you’re looking for a place with marble floors and quiet music, this isn't it. But if you need to get your banking done in Khar East, we’re here doing our best to keep things moving. It’s just a plain, simple bank branch where the work gets done every day without much fanfare.
