Awa Architectural Lighting Designers

Awa Architectural Lighting Designers is located in Bangalore at Madha Residency. We are on the second floor, right across from the Balaji Theatre in Thavarakare. It’s a busy spot, especially when a big movie is playing and the crowds start gathering outside. We can hear the whistles and cheers sometimes if the windows are open. Our office is just a regular floor in the residency building. We’ve got some drawing boards and computers set up where we spend most of our hours. It’s not a very large space, so we all know each other’s business pretty well. The stairs are a bit steep, so we get our exercise coming up and down every day. Aneesh Nair is around most of the time, making sure things don't get too messy. We have piles of catalogs and lighting fixtures sitting in the corners. It’s a bit of a jumble, but we know where everything is. The light in the office is okay, but we are always tweaking it since that’s what we do. We don't have a fancy lobby, just a door with our name on a small plaque. Lunch breaks are usually spent at one of the small eateries near the theatre. It’s a very grounded way of working, and we don't try to act like we’re a huge corporation. We’re just a small team in a busy part of Bangalore trying to get the job done.
