Avishkar

Avishkar is based out of Dhan Bhuvan No - 1. We’re in Flat 23 on the second floor of the housing society. The building is on J.S.S. Road, right at Gazdar Street. This part of Chira Bazar-Kalbadevi is always packed. It’s a very old part of Mumbai, and you can feel that history in the streets. Being in the 400002 zip code means we are right in the thick of the market area. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough for us. We have our files and our computers and we stay busy. Getting up to the second floor is a bit of a daily climb, but we're used to it. The noise from Gazdar Street comes through the windows sometimes. We don't mind it. It’s just the sound of the city. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just work on whatever projects are on the table. Kalbadevi is a unique place to have a business. It’s narrow streets and lots of energy. We’ve been part of this co-operative housing society for a good while. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families. It’s a mix of everything. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us here at Avishkar, doing the work day by day. We prefer it this way, keeping things local and simple without any fuss.
