Astech is situated in the Sardar Griha building, right near the Crawford Market area in Mumbai. We’re on the 4th floor, unit 168. If you know Kalbadevi, you know it’s one of the busiest parts of the city. There’s always people, carts, and noise everywhere. Being in a historic spot like Sardar Griha is interesting, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai City for a good while. Our office is a bit of a mix of old and new. We have modern computers sitting in a building that’s seen a lot of history. We handle web services, mostly just the technical bits that keep businesses online. It’s a crowded area, but we like being in the heart of the trade district. It feels like you’re actually part of the city’s pulse. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a lot of corporate fluff. It’s a practical space for practical work. Most of the time, we’re just busy with keyboards and screens. We don’t make things sound more complicated than they are. If a website is down, we fix it. If something needs building, we build it. It’s straightforward work done by regular people in a very busy part of town. We usually head out for a quick snack at the market when we need a break.
