Assistant Purchase Manager

This is the office for the Assistant Purchase Manager. We’re located over in Mumbai, specifically in Andheri East. The address is a bit of a mouthful, it’s at C 6, Subash Nagar, inside the MIDC area. We operate out of Shukla Chawl on Rainbow Street, which is Road Number 23. If you know the Snehasunil Deshmukh area, we’re right there. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, as you can imagine. There’s always something moving or someone passing by outside. Being in the 400093 area makes it easy to get around the city, though the traffic in Andheri can be a real headache sometimes. We’ve got a small setup here. It’s not one of those glass skyscrapers you see in the pictures of the city. It’s more of a ground-level, practical workspace. We spend our days here going through lists and making sure things are where they need to be. The chawl has a lot of life to it. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We don't have fancy furniture or anything. Just desks, chairs, and the work. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of stuff coming in, but we manage just fine. We’ve been at this Subash Nagar spot for a while now. It’s where we feel at home. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home like everyone else in this part of Mumbai. It is a very plain office.
