We are located over in Powai, specifically at Indira Priya Darshani on S V Road. Our office is Room Number 1 on the ground floor. Being in Mumbai, we have to make the most of the small space we have. It is usually quite crowded with desks and filing cabinets. Asit C Mehta Investments Interrmediates Ltd has been operating from this room for a good number of years. S V Road is always packed with cars and buses, so there is a constant background noise of honking and engines. It’s just the way it is in this part of the city. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy reception desk. Most people find us because they already know where we are. Inside, it is a very functional environment. We focus on the investment and intermediary work without any extra fluff. There are usually stacks of newspapers and market reports lying around. The staff is small, and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we don't need many meetings to know what to do. Sometimes the rain during the monsoon makes it hard to get to the office, but we usually manage to open up on time. It is a no-frills place where we just get through the daily grind. We aren't interested in sounding corporate; we just want to do our jobs and go home to our families at the end of the shift.
