Asian Paints

Living and working in Mumbai is always a bit of a squeeze. Our Asian Paints office is located in New Mhada, specifically in Santosh Nagar. We’re in Building 5C, Flat 601, way up on the sixth floor. It’s Goregaon East, so things are always moving fast outside. From our window, you can see the rooftops of other blocks and the usual city haze. It’s not a shop on the ground floor where you just walk in from the street. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the paperwork and the details of the business. Finding Flat 601 can be a little confusing for delivery guys because the Santosh Nagar layout is quite tight. We try to keep things tidy, but in a small Mumbai flat, boxes tend to pile up quickly. We deal with Asian Paints stuff all day long, talking to contractors and homeowners over the phone mostly. The 400065 pin code area is huge, and we try to cover as much as we can from here. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to walk the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. It’s a real place with real people working in it. We don’t have fancy receptionists or coffee machines. It’s just us, some desks, and a lot of work to get through before the sun sets.
