Asian Investment Securities

We are tucked away in Sai Ashis building, right in the A wing at Flat 101. It’s in Mulund West, so it’s a pretty busy neighborhood most of the time. Working out of a flat gives the whole thing a different feel than a big corporate office. We’ve got desks set up where the living room used to be, and there’s always a stack of papers or a computer screen showing the latest numbers. It gets a bit cramped when more than a few people are in here, but we make it work. Usually, the day starts with a lot of phone calls and checking on how things are moving in the markets. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not; we just handle the investment and security side of things for people who know where to find us. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good exercise I guess. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the windows, like kids playing or someone’s car alarm going off. It’s a very local way to run a business. We drink a lot of tea while we look over files and try to keep everything organized. It’s just a normal daily grind for us here in Mulund, and we’ve gotten quite used to the space and the people around us.
