Asian Gift Gallery

We are located right on the ground floor of the Asian Heart Institute in Bandra East. It is a busy hospital, so our shop sees a lot of different people every day. We are right opposite the ICICI Bank. Most of the people who come in are visiting patients or working at the hospital. We sell things that might make someone’s day a bit better, like small gifts or cards. It’s a small gallery, but we try to keep a variety of things on the shelves. Sometimes it’s sad because of the environment, but we try to be a friendly face for anyone who walks in. The air conditioning is usually running cold because of the hospital system. We spend our time arranging the displays and talking to customers who are often in a hurry. Bandra East is always moving fast, and being in a major medical center means we are open during long hours. It’s not a fancy boutique. It’s just a simple shop providing what people need when they are visiting their loved ones. We see a lot of flowers and stuffed toys going out the door. We know the staff from the bank across the way too. It’s a small world inside this building. We just keep things stocked and try to help people find a gift that says what they want to say without much fuss. The shop is small but we fit a lot inside.
