Ashok Hardware Stores

Ashok Hardware Stores is a local shop you’ll find in Goregaon East, specifically over on Princess Street. It’s been here for quite some time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We keep a lot of different things on the shelves, from basic tools to bits and pieces for home repairs. The store isn’t huge, so things can get a bit cluttered, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. If someone comes in looking for a specific screw or a certain type of pipe, we just go and find it. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and ask a question. We don’t have a website or any fancy digital systems. We just use a ledger and our own memory most of the time. Princess Street gets pretty busy during the day, with people walking by and delivery trucks stopping. We open early so the contractors can pick up what they need before they start their jobs. Sometimes it’s just me here, and other times I have a bit of help. We aren’t trying to be a big chain store. We’re just a local hardware spot for the people nearby. It’s dusty work and can be a bit tiring, but it’s what we do. People in Goregaon know they can drop in and get what they need without a lot of fuss. It’s been that way for a long time.
