Our office is at Maker Chambers VI, right in Nariman Point. We are in suite 94. Even though Nariman Point is known for being a big hub for business, our office feels pretty down-to-earth. We have been here in Mumbai for quite a while now. The building is one of those older, solid ones. You can see the sea if you walk just a little bit outside. Inside, we have our desks and a lot of old filing cabinets. We do various kinds of work here. It is a busy place with people coming and going all the time. We do not have a big fancy reception area with a person waiting to greet you. Usually, one of us just looks up from our desk when the door opens. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on our computers. The commute to Nariman Point can be very long for some of us, but it is a good place to be. We often go for a walk by the water during lunch to clear our heads. We are not into the whole corporate ladder thing. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done. It is a simple setup in a very famous building. We like the history of this area. It feels like we are part of the city’s pulse. We just do our bit and try to get through the pile of work on our desks.
