Ascent Design Studio

If you are looking for us, we are at 602 in the Marathon Galaxy-I building. It is right on LBS Marg in Mulund West. That road is always packed with cars, so we hear the noise from the office sometimes. Ascent Design Studio is a small place. We do design work, which mostly involves sitting at desks for long hours looking at screens or sketching on paper. It’s not a corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s just a studio where we try to figure out how to make spaces work better for people. Mulund is a busy suburb and being on LBS Marg makes it easy for people to find us, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We have samples of tiles and wood finishes tucked away in corners. It gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project. We don't have a mission statement or anything. We just do the drawings and talk to the people who are building the stuff. It is a practical job. Some days are just about fixing errors in a plan or making sure the colors look right in the actual light of a room. We've been in this building for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It's just a regular design office with people who are good with a pencil.
