Our shop is located at 20 Aakruti Shopping Centre on Mathuradas Road in Kandivli West. It’s a very busy part of the neighborhood, and the shopping center is always buzzing with people looking for different things. We deal with technology, so our shelves are usually packed with various gadgets, parts, and boxes. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be smart about how we stack things so we can move around. Most of the day is spent talking to people who walk in or handling repairs and setups. Mathuradas Road is one of those places that never really seems to sleep, so there’s always noise from the street and the other shops nearby. We’ve got a small workbench in the back where most of the technical stuff happens. It’s usually a bit messy with tools and screws, but that’s just the nature of the job. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know our way around the equipment. It’s a local operation; we know many of the people who live in the surrounding buildings because they stop by when things stop working. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and being right in the middle of Kandivli means we’re never bored. We just open up and see what the day brings in terms of work. It is a bit cramped but it works well enough for us.
