Our office is situated in the Simplex Mill Compound in Byculla West. It’s on the first floor, at number 30 on Keshavrao Khade Marg. Working in an old mill compound gives the place a specific kind of feeling. It’s not like the new buildings at all; it has those high ceilings and a bit of history to it. We are in Mumbai City, and Byculla is quite a central spot, though it can get really busy around here with all the commercial activity. We handle our enterprise work from this space. It’s a private limited company, but we keep things very low-key. The office is basically just a room where we can sit and get our work done without too many distractions. There is always some noise from the compound or the street, but that’s just part of being in this area. We aren't into the whole corporate lifestyle with the suits and the formal meetings. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable and get straight to the tasks of the day. It’s a simple operation. We have some desks, our computers, and the usual office supplies. Being in an old mill means the walls are thick and the place feels solid. We like the atmosphere here. It’s practical, it’s central, and it gives us the space we need to operate without any unnecessary fluff or fancy decorations.
