Our spot is at 609 Kanjur Marg in Mumbai. Being in this city, you get used to everything being fast and a bit crowded. Artech Infosystems Pvt Ltd operates out of a fairly standard office building. It is not one of those fancy skyscrapers by the water, just a solid place where we can do our work. 609 is our room number, and it is usually filled with the sound of fans and people talking over their monitors. We deal with information systems, which means a lot of technical tasks that are not always easy to explain to outsiders. We just call it work. The area around Kanjur Marg is always bustling. There is always someone moving something or a truck backing up nearby. It gives the place some energy, I suppose. We do not have a big HR department or a floor full of executives. It is just us. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep the systems from crashing. The commute in Mumbai is always an adventure, so we are usually a bit tired when we get in, but we get the job done anyway. We have been at this location for a while and have a good routine going. It is not a glamorous life, but it is ours. We do not bother with marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a small team in a big city, doing what we know how to do.
