Arihant Gift World

Arihant Gift World is up on the second floor of the White House building, Office Number 203. We are right on S V Road in Andheri West, very close to the Metro Bridge. If you know that area, you know how the traffic is always crawling below. From our windows, we can see the metro trains zooming past every few minutes. Our shop is filled with all kinds of gift items, from small trinkets to bigger things for special occasions. It’s a bit of a climb to the second floor but it’s quieter up here than it is down on the main road. We spend a lot of time unpacking new arrivals and trying to find space for them on the shelves. It’s a bit like a puzzle sometimes. People come in looking for something for a birthday or an anniversary and we usually just let them wander around until they find something they like. We don't hover over people. The building itself is an older one but it serves us well. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the metro bridge being built from scratch. Now it’s just part of the view. It is just a few of us working here, keeping the place tidy and making sure we have enough variety for the neighborhood folks. It is a simple life and we enjoy the daily routine of the shop. We just open up, drink our tea, and wait for the day to begin.
